Profile

Michelle is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Florida. She holds licensure as a Chartered Global Management Accountant, and has been designated as a Registered Tax Return Preparer by the Internal Revenue Service.

Mrs. Mays earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Troy State University in Dothan, Alabama, having graduated with honors. With over 20 years in Business and Industry, Michelle has obtained a vast array of experience in professional services.

Michelle is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  She is a strong supporter of education and professional development and continues to expand her knowledge with ongoing professional education, keeping abreast of the latest accounting principles, tax laws and planning strategies.

Michelle is a native of Bainbridge, Georgia. She is happily married to her husband, Derrik Mays, who is a retired Technical Sergeant in the United States Air Force and currently works with the Veteran’s Administration serving other veterans. The couple resides on a small farm in the Lloyd community near Tallahassee, Florida.
